Summer 2025

Taken from Yew St., looking at the east-facing side of the building where the vibrant panels mark the level that will soon become Arbutus Neighbourhood House! It’s been incredible to see so many hands and hearts involved — from construction crews to City partners — all helping to bring this new neighbourhood house to life.

Along the north side of the building, large windowed doors will open out to the plaza area — creating a seamless connection between the neighbourhood house and a space for gathering, connection, and community.

This view shows the north side of the building, where the front entrance to the future Arbutus Neighbourhood House will soon take shape, welcoming community into a bright, accessible, and inclusive space for connection and support.

Members of the ANHBC and ASK teams in the spacious and light-filled main room of the future neighbourhood house. With the new ASK space just downstairs, an exciting opportunity to build partnership and collaboration.

One of three multi-purpose rooms in the new neighbourhood house — designed to be used individually or opened up into one large, flexible space. Surrounded by windows, trees, and natural light, these rooms will support a wide range of community programs, gatherings, and moments of connection still to come.
